The Central Government on 10 February has announced 2 additional attempts permitted to the candidates of all the categories aspiring to make it in the prestigious competitive civil services examination, which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)
UPSC declared IAS Prelims (Civil Services Preliminary) 2013 result on 2 August 2013. The main written exam will be conducted by UPSC from 1 December 2013. Last date of receiving application for IAS main written exam by UPSC for IAS main written exam is 18 September 2013. In accordance with the Rules of the Examination, candidates, who qualified in the preliminary have to apply again in the Detailed Application Form DAF (CSM), for IAS (CS) Main Examination 2013.
UPSC declared the mark sheet for the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2012. Candidates can now log into the UPSC official website and get their mark sheet on entering their details. Candidates can check their results here.
UPSC declared the detailed mark sheets for Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam, Civil Services (Main) Exam (written not qualified), Civil Services (Main) Exam written qualified (candidates who qualified for PT), and Civil Services (Main) Exam 2012 (recommended candidates). In terms of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2013, candidates have been asked to download their admission certificates for the Nagpur Centre on or before 3 May 2013 may take another fresh print for the detailed address of the venue for Civil Services (Prelims) Examination 2013. The Union Public Service Commission released a corrigendum which stated that in partial modification of press note dated 3 May 2013 on the subject mentioned above, in para-2, the vacancies for the Scheduled Tribe Category in Central Services Group ‘A’ may be read as 46 in place of 24. Other details mentioned remain unchanged.
