Assam HSLC Results 2013 and AHM (Madarssa) Result 2013 on 17 May 2013

Candidates who had appeared for High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination / Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examination can expect their result on 17 May 2013 at 10 am. The Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) conducted these examinations in the month of March 2013.

SEBA conducted High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Examination / Assam High Madrassa (AHM) Examination in 26 districts across 823 centres in the state of Assam. These districts include Baksa, Barpeta, Bongaigaon, Cachar, Chirang, Darrang, Dhemaji, Dhubri, Dibrugarh, Dima Hasao, Goalpara, Golaghat, Hailakandi, Jorhat, Kamrup, Karbi Anglong, Karamp-imganj, Kokrajhar, Lakhimpur, Morigaon, Nagaon, Nalbari, Sivasagar, Sonitpur, Tinsukia and Udalguri. It is expected that approximately 384702 students appeared for these examinations.

The jurisdiction of SEBA was the territory of the erstwhile State of Assam comprising the entire North East region of the country. With the creation of the Provinces/States Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Arunachal Pradesh out of Assam at different times and with the establishment of their separate/own Boards of School Education the jurisdiction of SEBA got reduced. Presently the territory of the State of Assam is the jurisdiction of the Board.
