July # Holidays Over – Starting of New CBSE Academic Session 2017 – 2018

Well in most of the CBSE Schools the new academic session started from April 2017 but after admission, registration etc., things get pretty serious from the month of July. Students of CBSE Class 12 must be aware of new CBSE syllabus and the portion which will be asked in their coming CBSE Class 12 internal exams.

August # 1/3rd of Syllabus must be Well Prepared

In Physics, most of the school first covers chapters like Electrostatic, Current Electricity, Ray Optics and Wave Optics till this month. Most of the CBSE Schools first cover the chapters having maximum weightage in CBSE Class 12 Board exams.

For example:

In Physics, most schools first cover chapters like Electrostatic, Current Electricity, Ray optics and Wave optics as total weightage of these chapters in CBSE Class 12 Board exam is of 32 marks (out of 70). Students are advised to finish these chapters and start solving Unitwise CBSE Class 12 Physics practice papers.

Similarly, in Chemistry, one must first finish chapters of Physical Chemistry i.e. Solid State, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Chemical Kinetics, Surface Chemistry etc and start solving CBSE practice papers.

In the same way, one must cover algebra and calculus first in mathematics and so on. One can also try online test to check their preparation level.

September # Need More Pace and Hard Work

During this time, things will get pretty speedy. Teachers will be under pressure of completing syllabus. So, a little carelessness (like absence in class, delay in solving class assignments) may prove fatal. In Class 12 chapters (especially physics, chemistry and mathematics) are connected to each other. If one will miss a chapter then he or she may not be able to understand concepts given in next chapter or topics. So, a student needs extra effort and hard work to match the pace.

October # Diwali and Dussehra Holidays – Take Advantage

Every CBSE Class 12 students will get about 10 – 12 holidays in this month. One can study in the morning and enjoy in the evening. Besides enjoying one can also study the chapters by doing group study, taking extra classes etc. More than half of the syllabus must be covered by the students. Students can also start revising topics with a good question bank. Make the best use of these holidays.

November # Heavy Duty Required – Most Stressful time

This is the most stressful month of complete Class 12 academic year because students need to study new topics and also need to revise already studied chapters. Also, most teachers will try to finish the course in this month only; teachers may also call for extra classes, so one needs to stay focus on studies and understanding concepts without getting tired. One may need to give up all other activities to maintain the rhythm.

December # Time for Pre-rehearsal: The Pre-board Exams

Students of CBSE Class 12 should take pre-board exam seriously. Although, the marks of these exams are not added to final grade sheet one must attempt these exams with an honest effort. These exams provide real time scenario similar to the CBSE board exams. From these exams, you can easily identify your weakness and you will also understand what you need to study on the last day before the exam. Now, most of you have finished your CBSE 2017 – 2018 Class 12 syllabus. Now, it’s time to practice as much as possible. One should reserve this month for revision purpose only. One must not study anything new in this month as the student may get stuck in any new topic during last moment as it may add more confusion and also results in wastage of precious time.

One should revise NCERT textbooks and avoid wasting time nn Facebook, Twitter, Whatsapp and other social sites. Generally, students get stuck in unnecessary conversations or activities through these social sites which result in the wastage of their precious time. So, throw your smartphone somewhere and follow your study timetable.

Now for final days, do bot study too much, only revise summary and highlighted content. You can also solve CBSE guess paper prepared by as they are consist of questions which are extremely important. Don’t push yourself to read each and every line of your textbook as it is not possible.
