CTET 2021: CBSE Releases Information Bulletin for Dec Exam @ctet.nic.in, Application Process Started

CBSE CTET 2021 December Exam: Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the information bulletin for CTET December 2021 on its website. All those who wish to appear in CTET Dec 2021 can now register themselves at ctet.nic.in from today onwards. i.e. 20 September 2021 on the official website – ctet.nic.in. The last date of submitting the online application is 19 October 2021. The candidates can access the CTET 2021 Online Form Link by scrolling down. 

According to the official notice, the exam for CTET will be conducted between 16 December 2021 and  13 January  2022 which will be Computer Based Test, CBT and will be held in about 20 languages. The exam date and time for the exam will be intimated to the candidates through admit cards.

The detailed Information Bulletin containing details of examination, syllabus, languages, eligibility criteria, examination fee, examination cities and important dates is available on CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in  and the aspiring candidates are requested to download the Information Bulletin from the above-mentioned website only and read the same carefully before applying.

National Council for Teacher Education (Determination of Minimum Qualifications for Persons to be recruited as Education Teachers and Physical Education Teachers in Pre-Primary, Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary, Senior Secondary or Intermediate Schools or Colleges) Regulations as amended and notified from time to time. 

Minimum qualifications laid down in the Recruitment Rules for the teachers by the Appropriate Government where the school is situated or the Recruitment Rules for the teachers of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangthan or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti.

Qualifying Marks and Award of CTET Certificate

As per NCTE Notification No. 76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as a TET pass.

(a) School managements (Government, local bodies, government-aided and unaided) may consider giving concessions to person belonging to SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc., in accordance with their extant reservation policy.

(b) Should give weightage to the CTET scores in the recruitment process however, qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate

The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

How to Apply for CTET Dec 2021?

STEP 1: Log on to CTET official website https://ctet.nic.in.
STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
STEP 4: Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature
STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card and net banking
STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
