IBPS Clerk Exam 2015: Syllabus and Preparation Tips for Quantitative Aptitude

Like every year, Indian Banking and Personnel Selection (IBPS) has invited candidates to apply for clerical posts in nationalized banks around India. The clerical examination this year would take place in two parts: Prelims and Mains. The prelims examination would be conducted on the month of December and on successful selection through the exam the candidates would have to undergo Mains examination in the month of January. Due to the rising number of aspiring candidates the body had to make it a two tier written examination so that the best among the best could get filtered out for the posts. The candidates after the written examinations need to go through personal interview round as well for final selection.

The Preliminary written examination consists of 100 marks and consequently 100 questions that needs to get solved in 1 hour duration. The time becomes really challenging while solving questions that require calculations and applications of formulas. Quantitative Aptitude is one such paper which is quite time consuming and candidates having adequate preparation only can pull this off in time. Hence the candidates need to focus on the paper along with the other two: English Language and Reasoning Ability.
