In the JEE Advanced Result 2016 announced on Sunday, Jaipur’s Aman Bansal was declared as the all-India topper with 320 out of 372 marks; he was closely followed by Bhavesh Dhingra (AIR 2) from Yamuna Nagar and his city mate Kunal Goyal (AIR 3), also from Jaipur. Among the female candidates, Riya Singh from Kota emerged topper with AIR of 133. IIT-Bombay has emerged as the best performing zone with 8,810 candidates qualifying in the JEE Advanced 2016.

City mate of the topper Aman Bansal, Kunal Goyal from Jaipur secured the third rank in JEE Advanced 2016 Results. The similarities among the first and third rankers do not end there. Just like Bansal, Kunal also wants to pursue computer engineering from IIT-Bombay. As per his, interest in engineering is a family trait as his father is also an engineer. The All India Rank 4 for JEE Advanced 2016 was held by Duggani Jeevithiesh who appeared for the engineering entrance test from IIT Madras zone. He had also topped the OBC-NCL category rank list and is topper for IIT-Madras zone. Son of an engineer and a homemaker from Vijaywada, Jeevithiesh dedicated about 10 hours daily for preparation of JEE Advanced 2016 Exam. Although he hasn’t decided about future course of action with respect to career options, but just like the others he is planning to take up computer science engineering from IIT-Bombay for academic stream. He has also become an inspiration for his younger sister to do well in studies.

Native of Singrauli in Madhya Pradesh, just like the other toppers she also wants to pursue computer science engineering but from IIT Delhi or IIT Kanpur.
