JEE Main 2019: Last day to claim for EWS quota, make corrections (if any) in Application Form

Students belonging to EWS category can update their status in JEE Main 2019 Application form of January and April session. Today is the last day to make corrections in JEE Main Application form 2019 for January and April sessions. Make necessary corrections (if any) at before the end of the day.Candidates can make correction in only one of the fields among Candidate’s Name or Mother’s Name or Father’s Name. This online facility will be available from 11 to 15 March. The registration process for the second session of JEE Main 2019 has been already closed on 7th March. Students can rectify their mistakes made while filling online application form of JEE Main 2019. Candidates who have already submitted the complete application form following by the payment of application fee can take advantage of this facility. The second session of JEE Main 2019 is scheduled to be conducted from 7th to 20th April. Let’s study stepwise procedure to make correction in application form of JEE Main 2019.

How to make corrections in JEE Main Application Form 2019?

  • Enter JEE Main Application Number and Password.
  • Enter security pin displayed on the screen
  • Click on the login button.
  • Go to the section where you want to make the corrections.
  • Click on “Submit” button after doing the corrections.

Check the details which can be corrected through JEE Main 2019 Application Form Correction Window:

  • Change of Paper:

Students can change the choice of papers by opting for Paper I, Paper II or both papers.

  • Personal Details:

Students can also correct their personal details like name, date of birth and state of eligibility.

  • Academic Details:

Students can also modify their academic details entered while filling JEE Main Application Form 2019.

  • Medium of examination:

Candidates can change the medium of examination from English to Hindi/Gujarati (or vice versa).

  • Category:

Students can change their category if they wish. But remember, no fee will be refunded to students in case of changing from general to reserved category. Also, students will have to pay balance fee in case of changing from reserved to general category.
