JEE Main 2019: NTA announces exam dates for April session, check complete schedule

In a bid to benefit a number of engineering aspirants, National-level engineering entrance test, Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main will be conducted twice a year. After successfully conducting JEE Main January exam, the national testing agency has announced the exam dates for paper 1 and paper 2 of JEE Main 2019. As per the latest schedule, the Paper 2 (For B. Arch/ B. Planning Aspirants) of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted on 7th April, while the Paper 1 (For B.E/ B.Tech Aspirants) will be held on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e., First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). The Mathematics and General Aptitude section of Paper 2 will be conducted in computer based test mode while drawing test will be in Pen & Paper (offline) mode. The Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in fully computer based test mode. The admit cards for the JEE Main will be released on March 20 at jeemain.nic.in. Appearing candidates can check their exact date and shift from their respective JEE Main Admit Cards.

About NTA:

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been constituted as an autonomous and self-sustained, premier testing organization to conduct entrance examinations for Higher Education Institutions in the country. The NTA would initially conduct those entrance examinations which are currently conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The examinations will be conducted in online mode twice a year in order to give adequate opportunity to candidates to bring out their best.
