NTA UGC NET Answer Key Dec 2019 Viewing Date Extended for Kashmir Candidates: Raise Objection in Offline or Online Mode
NTA has extended the last date to view the UGC NET December 2019 Answer Key that has been released at the official Website of NTA (ugcnet.nta.nic.in). National testing agency conducted the UGC NET December 2019 across the country from 2nd to 6th December 2019 in online mode in which 7,93,813 candidates appeared. NTA has received many requests from the Candidates of Kashmir Valley regarding difficulty they are facing while challenging provision Answer Keys online.
UGC NET December 2019 – Raising Objection in Offline Mode
To overcome this issue, in addition to the existing online Key Challenge facility, the Candidate(s) in the Kashmir Valley can challenge the Answer Keys offline by using any of the following methods:
- Downloading the form of concerned subject available on the website - ugcnet.nta.nic.in and filling in the hard copy, depositing it at the Nodal Centre mentioned below and obtaining a Receipt therefrom. Here is the format for raising objection in offline mode:
- Using a hard copy of the form available at the Nodal Centre, filling in, depositing it there itself and obtaining a Receipt therefrom.

The candidates are required to fill in complete details along with supporting documents wherever required. The candidates are advised to pay a sum of Rs. 1000/- (one thousand rupees) only for each question challenged in the form of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of Director General, National Testing Agency, payable at NOIDA (UP). The fee will be refunded if the challenge is found correct. In view of the above, the facility of challenge is also extended upto 15.12.2019 (05:00 pm).
The link for display of question papers and responses attempted thereon by each candidate is available on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Copy of the Question Papers is also available at the Nodal Centre. Candidates may, therefore, check all the questions details before submission of Answer Key Challenge.
UGC NET December 2019 – Raising Objection in Online Mode
Step-1: Visit the official website of NTA UGC NET, i.e., ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
Step-2: Click “View Question Paper and Challenge Provisional Answer Key”.
Step-3: Login with your Application Number and Date of Birth or Password and enter Security Pin as displayed and Submit.
Step-4: Click “Challenge/s regarding Answer Key”.
Step-5: You will see Question IDs in sequential order.
Step-6: The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the correct
Answer Key to be used by NTA.
Step-7: If you wish to challenge this option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
Step-8: After clicking your desired option, scroll down, ‘Save your Claim’ and move to next screen.
Step-9: You will see a display of all the Option IDs you have challenged.
Step-10: You may want to upload supporting documents in which you can select ‘Choose File’ and upload (all documents to be put in a single pdf file).
Step-11: Click on ‘Save your Claim Finally’.
Step-12: You will find a screen displaying your challenges.
Step-13: Kindly pay the fee by clicking on ‘Click here to Pay Fee’.
Step-14: Select Mode of Payment and Pay your fee @ Rs. 1,000/- for each question challenged.
Make payment through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking.
In case your challenge is found correct, your fee will be refunded in the same account.
