RRB/RRC Group D Level 1 Posts 2019 Apply Online till 12th April: Changes in Registration Details

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has invited online applications on behalf of Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) from eligible candidates for various posts in Level 1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix in various units of Indian Railways like Track Maintainer Grade IV, Helper/Assistant in various technical departments (Electrical, Engineering, Mechanical and S&T Departments), Assistant Pointsman, and level-1 posts in other departments. Eligible Candidates can apply from 12th March 2019 till 12th April 2019 for total 103769 Vacancies. RRB/RRC MI Level 1 Posts CBT 2019 Exam will be held between September to October 2019.

Step-2: Choose the Category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS/ExSM/CCAA/PwBD):

Step-3: Select the Railway of your choice:

Select the Railway in which you wish to apply. Before you select the Railway please go through the Post Parameters and the Railway-wise Vacancies to ascertain the availability of vacancies as per your eligibility. Please note that Railway once selected cannot be changed after Registration.

Step-4: Fill in the Registration Details:

Fill up the basic details viz. Name, Father name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, E-mail Id, Aadhar number etc.:

 

 

RRB has made recent Ammendments regarding Registration Details:

1. During process of Online registration of application, candidates may enter Roll Number in place of Registration Number, if it is not available in their SSLC/Matric certificate/mark sheet. Similarly, candidates with ITI/NAC qualification alone may enter Roll Number in place of Registration Number, if it is not available in their ITI/NAC certificate/mark sheet.

2. Candidates must bring the same certificate during Document Verification whose Registration Number or Roll Number has been filled up while making Online registration and application."

Step-5: Generation of Registration ID and Password

Complete the Registration process by filling all the details for generating a Registration Id & Password for login and OTPs (One Time Password) for validation. The Registration Id and password will be displayed on the screen. OTPs will be sent to your registered mobile number and E-mail id. Only one ONLINE Registration is permitted through one mobile number and one email ID under this CEN. Retrieve OTPs from mobile number and E-mail and enter the same in respective text box and click on ‘Validate’ Button. After validation of OTP's of Mobile and E-mail Id, it cannot be changed.

Step-6: Complete the Eligibility Criteria

Click On ‘Apply/Edit’ option on the screen. Complete the Eligibility Criteria Form and Submit. Before submitting the Eligibility Criteria Form, be sure that all the information is filled correctly. After submission, you can modify only by Paying the modification fee of Rs 100/-. The modification can be done only Twice.

Detailed Educational Qualification: Furnish all the relevant information on the qualification as required in the application.

Choice of Exam Language: English is the default language. In case the candidate wishes to choose any other language, then the same can be selected from the drop down list of languages. The languages listed are Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. In case of any difference/ discrepancy/dispute in the Questions between English and the opted language, the content of English version shall prevail.

Details of Photo ID Proof: Candidates will have to fill the details of a valid Photo ID card in the application which they will have to bring in ORIGINAL as identity proof during CBT, PET, DV, Medical or any subsequent stages of exam. The valid Photo ID Card should be any one of the following:

i) Voter Card,

ii) Aadhaar Card,

iii) Printout of e-Aadhaar (not Photostat/Scanned copy of Aadhaar),

iv) Driving License,

v) PAN card,

vi) Passport,

vii) Identity Card issued by the employer in case the candidate is a Govt. employee,

viii) College / University Photo ID card, if still studying.

Step-7: Choose the Railways Posts in order of your preference

After submission of Eligibility criteria form, the list of posts for which the candidate is eligible, will be displayed to enable the candidates to enter the priority number in the order of their preference. Candidates will be considered only for the posts for which post preference has been entered. Hence candidates should select as many posts as they would like to be considered from the list. Once sure of the selection, Click on confirm button or edit if wish to change the priority numbers.

Step-8: Payment of Application Fee

After submission of preference form, make the Payment by clicking on the Payment tab. Only after payment you will be able to fill the additional details and upload Photos and signature etc.:

Mode of Payment:

1)Bank

a. Net Banking /Credit card/Debit card/UPI etc: Select the mode of payment of fees from the options available such as Net Banking, Credit Card/Debit Card etc., Enter the details required on the relevant option screen and submit the payment. After a while you will get the payment response as "Success" once bank has received your fees, or else a "Failure" response will be displayed on the screen along with the reason for failure.

b. For Payment through SBI Challan and NEFT, Click on "SBI Branch" from the options. Fill the mobile number & date of birth and click "Confirm" button. Then click on the “Click here to Download” the form in PDF, take the print of the form, fill relevant details and pay the fees at your nearest SBI branch. Payment confirmation may take 2 hours and hence login after 2 hours and look for confirmation of payment status.

2) Post Office: For Payment through Post Office, Select Post Office from the drop down and Click the button to proceed for generating a Challan. Take print of the Challan and pay the fees in the nearest computerized post office. Payment confirmation may take 48 hours and hence login after 48 hours and look for confirmation of payment status.

Step-9: Uploading of Scanned Copy of Photograph and Signature of the Candidate

After successful payment, Click on the “Fill additional details” and complete the remaining application form by filling up additional details and Photo(s)/Document(s) Upload. Before uploading photo and signature, be sure that the scanned photo is as per the specification mentioned in CEN.

Photograph of the candidate:

a) It should be a Colour Passport Photograph with white/light color back ground.

b) It should be of size 35mmX45mm or 320 x 240 pixels.

c) It should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution.

d) The size of the photograph should be between 20-50KB.

e) The color photograph must have been taken on or after 01-01-2019 in a professional studio. Photographs taken using mobile and self-composed portraits may result in rejection of application.

f) The photo should have clear front view of the candidate without cap and sunglasses.

g) The face should occupy at least 50% of the area of the photograph with a full face view looking at the camera directly.

h) The main features of the face must not be covered by hair of the head any cloth or any shadow.

i) Fore head, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.

j) In case the candidate wears glasses, then the photograph should not have any glare/reflections on glasses and eyes should be clearly visible.

k) The Photograph must match with the candidate appearance on the days of CBT and DV.

l) PwBD candidates should also upload passport photograph as per above specifications only and not the full body photograph used in the disability certificate.

m) Candidates are advised to keep at least 12 (Twelve) copies of the same photograph for further use as and when required during the recruitment process.

Signature of the Candidate:

  1. The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen with in a box of size 50mm x 20mm.
  2. Signature must be in running letters and NOT IN BLOCK LETTERS.
  3. The image should be in JPG/JPEG format scanned with 100 DPI resolution.
  4. Dimensions of 50mm x 20mm or 140 x 60 pixels (preferred).
  5. Size of file should be between 10KB —40KB.

Note:

1. The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.

2. The applicants signature obtained during registration and at the time of CBTs/DV/Medical should match the uploaded signature.

3. In case it is found that there is a mismatch of signature, the candidate may be disqualified, legal prosecution will be initiated and the candidate will be debarred for life from appearing in railway recruitments (RRBs/RRCs).

SC/ST Certificate Upload:

Candidates belonging to SC/ST Community who have opted to avail Free Rail Travel, have to upload scanned copy of their SC/ST Certificates (JPG/JPEG format, 50KB – 100KB) also for availing the facility of Free Travel Authority (Second Class Railway Pass).

Step-10: Final Submission of Application

Before clicking on “Final submit”, make sure the photograph and signatures are uploaded properly by checking previews of photograph and signature. After submission, it can be edited only by paying the modification fee of Rs 100/- . Modification can be done only twice. After final submission of the application, the candidate may save the file as “PDF” and/or take print of the application and preserve it for reference and record.
