SSC CHSL 2020 Exam Postponed from 20 March-Check 19, 18, 17 March (All Shifts) Exam Analysis: SSC CHSL 2019-20 Tier-1 Exam has been officially postponed by the commission due to coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The exam was supposed to be conducted in Online Mode across the country from 17th March to 28th March 2020. From 20th March 2020 Onwards, the exams would not be conducted as per the schedule and new dates will be released by SSC soon.

Day 1:

17th March 2020

(Easy to Moderate)

The difficulty level of the questions ranged from easy to moderate. Try to attempt all the easy questions first to achieve accuracy and a high score.

Puzzles and series questions are quite easy and are taking less time in solving. Some questions were tricky like coding-decoding. Do not get stuck in these questions and attempt the rest of the questions with ease.

Practice previous year paper for GK Section as the questions are being taken from past year SSC CGL Exam. Current Affairs questions are from sports, Important Days & Theme, and Recent Appointments  

Synonyms, Antonyms, Spelling Test and Cloze Test questions are quite easy to attempt. Use the rule of elimination for the words which are tough to understand. Avoid making guesswork.

Day 2:

18th March 2020

(Easy to Moderate)


Formula based questions are coming in the exam and some of them are exactly based on the previous year's questions format. Candidates are advised to practice previous year papers for scoring high marks in Quant Section.

Questions can be solved with ease without using any formula. Candidates are advised to attempt maximum questions in this section to score high marks

Candidates are advised to practice previous year papers for scoring high marks in the GK section as questions asked previously are coming in the exam. Last 4 to 6 months current affairs questions were asked.

Basic understanding of English Grammar and Vocabulary can help in scoring high marks in this section

Day 3:

19th March 2020

(Easy to Moderate)

Lot of Easy questions are coming from topics Average, Percentage, Ration & proportion. Difficult ones are Trigonometry, Mensuration & Geometry. Candidates need to attempt all the easy questions first to score high marks.

This is one of the highest scoring section of the exam as lots of easy questions are coming in this section. Candidates are advised to solve quickly reasoning questions but with accuracy to score high marks.

Past 4 to 6 months current affairs are being covered. Candidates are advised to brush up sports, history, Indian constitution, Awards topic properly.

Questions are easy as you need to have understanding of basic english grammar and vocabulary.

SSC CHSL Tier-1 2019-20 Computer Based Exam (CBE) consisted of total 100 questions for 200 marks in the Objective MCQ Format.
