SSC CHSL 2018-19 Notification Date Announced, Apply for 10+2 DEO, LDC 2019

SSC CHSL 2018-19 Notification release date has been announced by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) on 25 January 2019 at its official portal. As per the revised exam calender issued by the Commision, SSC CHSL Notification 2018-19 will be issued on 05 March 2019 this year.

The SSC also announced, through the Tentative Annual Calendar of Examinations to be Held During The Period (1st January,2019 to 31th March-2020), the SSC CHSL 2018-19 Online Application Process will start from 05 March 2019 and the candidates will be able to apply till the 05 April 2019.

While, the SSC CHSL 2018 Exam aka Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Exam., 2018 (Tier-I) will be conducted through the Computer Based Examination (CBE) from 01 July 2019 and it will continue till 26 July 2019, as per the new dates announced by the Commission.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the official notification PDF for Combined Higher Secondary (CHSL) exam soon for the post of 10+2 DEO, LDC, etc in Central Government Ministries and Departments. Candidates who were waiting for the notification will be able to apply for the exam from 05 March 2019 onwards.

Last year, SSC CHSL Exam 2017-18 notification was out on 18 November 2017 to recruit 3259 posts of Lower Divisional Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO).

SSC CHSL Result 2017 (Tier – 1) was held from 4 March 2018 to 26 March 2018 and the result of the same was out on 15 June 2018. A total of 48393 candidates have been declared successful to appear the SSC CHSL Tier– 2 Exam 2017 scheduled to be held this year. SSC CHSL Tier-2 Exam 2017 was conducted on 15 July 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CHSL 2019

Educational Qualification

Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

Age Limit

18-27 years (Age Relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt. norms)

Selection Process for SSC CHSL Exam 2019

Candidates will be selected through the Online Computer Based Test. The examination will consist of a Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Typing Test/ Skill Test (Tier-III). Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination the basis of their performance in (Tier-I + Tier-II) subject to having minimum score of 33% in Tier-II. Tier-III Examination i.e. Skill Test will be of qualifying type. The candidates who qualify TierIII will be called for Document Verification

How to apply for SSC CHSL Exam 2019
