SSC Combined Higher Secondary Exam (LDC/DEO) 2015: Last Minute Tips

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is all set to conduct a Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2015 on 1st November 2015, 15th November 2015, 20th November 2015 and 6th December 2015.The candidates applying for the examination must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent from a recognized board or university. The examination will comprised of 200 objective types with duration of 2 hour. Except for English Language and Comprehension, the questions will be set in both English and Hindi medium. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

The Commission would select candidates for the LDC (Lower Division Clerk) and DEO (Data Entry Operator) posts who would work on various government offices. Figure out what's covered: Concentrate on the topics that you have already covered and about which you are confident. Do not try to learn new topics as at this time it will only lower your confidence. Revise General Awareness and Computer Knowledge section as these are scoring section.

Proper Time Division

Candidates should divide the time as per difficulty level of questions. The allotment of the time for every section is necessary. This will help the candidates to manage the time for each section. 

Avoid wastage of Time: Don’t spend too much time on reviewing question paper and avoid solving a particular question repeatedly, it will lead to have inadequate time to solve other sections.

Venue should be reached before 30 minutes

It is very essential for candidates to reach the examination venue before time. Try to reach the place 30 minutes prior to the time the examination. This will help you to avoid all kind of discomfort and problems that may arise while transportation. It is advisable for the appearing candidates to visit the examination center a day before the examination so that you can get an idea about the exact location of the exam center.

Document to Carry

Keep all necessary documents- Candidates should keep in mind to carry all the necessary documents with them at the time of examination. Voter card, admit card, pencil box are such items that need to be brought by you into the examination hall. Voter Card is an important document that will keep you away from all the problems that can arise regarding your identity.
