Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) is a state level MBA Entrance exam conducted by Anna University for admission to post graduate courses. Through this exam, thousands of MBA aspirants seek admission in the MBA programmes run by Anna University in the state of Tamil Nadu. In 2019, the TANCET entrance exam will be conducted on June 22nd in the after slot from 2:30pm to 4:30pm for the aspirants across various test centers in the country. TANCET ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

TANCET REGISTRATION PROCESS
TANCET has a single application form for all the participating institutes. All the MBA aspirants are required to fill the form by choosing their preferred course in the registration form. The applications forms for the exam are usually released in January annually. Interested and eligible candidates need to register for the TANCET MBA exam through official website only and thereafter the form must be submitted via ONLINE mode only. After submitting the form, hard copy of TANCET registration form needs to be sent to the Secretary along with a demand draft (fee payment can be made through DD only).

TANCET EXAM PATTERN
Exam pattern plays a vital role in driving the preparations of exams such as Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET). TANCET is a pen and paper based test that is conducted in the time frame of 2-hours. Exam takers will get a multiple choice questions based test wherein there are five sections. TANCET ADMIT CARD
Admit card is one of the most important documents in the MBA entrance exams. For an exam taker, it is very important to carry this document to the examination hall. Those candidates who successfully submit their application form with in the stipulated time frame can download the admit card from the official website of Anna University. The admit card will contain all the necessary information pertaining to details of candidates, date, time and address of test venue. TANCET MBA admit card is released generally in the month of March every year i.e. 7 days before the exam date.

TANCET MBA exam result is generally released in the month of April by Anna University. The result is declared on the official website for all the candidates. Exam takers can check the result using their login id and password. After the release of the results, a rank list is made available that ascertains rank of each candidate. On the basis of the rank secured by the candidates, they are called for counselling and institutes are allotted as per the preference of the admission seeker and availability of seats in the desired institute.
