The banking team of Jagranjosh.com has come up with few time management tips that can help candidates to be more accurate with their preparations.

Prepare a revision time table: Make a revision strategy and study according to this schedule just before the examination. Candidates are advised to revise all the formulas and rules for each subject. For example: Revise basic English grammar rules from any grammar book.

Figure out what's covered: Focus on the topics that you have already covered and about which you are confident. Do not try to learn new topics as at this time it will only lower your confidence. Revise General Awareness and Computer Knowledge section as these are scoring section.

Time allocation for each section: Allocate time to each section as there is sectional cut offs so, candidates has to qualify in each section. Candidates should decide in advance how much time they will spend on each section. Plan this out according to your strengths and weaknesses.

Focus on accuracy: Candidates should not try to attempt all the questions as it is not possible to solve all questions in given time. Candidates are advised to focus on accuracy.

Cross-check the options also: Sometimes one can easily get the answer by just checking the given options. So cross check the given options before marking your answer.

Avoid wastage of Time: Don’t spend too much time on reviewing question paper and avoid solving a particular question repeatedly, it will lead to have inadequate time to solve other sections.

Avoid guessing answers: With each wrong answer you would decrease your chances of selection in the written examination as negative marking is applicable in this examination. Hence, it is safe to answer whatever falls under the purview of your knowledge. Guessing doesn’t help in such examinations to topple the hurdle.

Be confident: Self Confidence is the key to crack this examination. From a comparative analysis of the candidates who got already selected, self confidence was one thing that found common amongst all selected ones. You need to keep yourself charged and have faith in yourself. This will definitely help you to answer your questions in the examination with self-assurance and conviction.

Don’t overstress yourself: In order to do well in the exam, your mind needs to be stress-free. Candidates are advised to take breaks in preparation hours to refresh their mind.
