NTA UGC NET Result 2019 June out: Check your result @ntanet.nic.in
NTA has declared UGC NET June 2019 Result at its official website (ntanet.nic.in) on 12th July 2019. NTA conducted the UGC NET June 2019 Exam held between 20th june to 26th June 2019 in online mode across the country and around 6.8 Lakh candidates appeared for the exam. UGC NET Exam was conducted for total 81 subjects for Paper-2 which was of total 200 marks. As per the official notification, total 4756 candidates have cleared the ‘JRF & Assistant Professor’ cut-off and total 55701 candidates have cleared ‘Assistant Professor Only’ cutoff. Step-1: Candidates need to go to the home page of the website (ntanet.nic.in) and click on the link ‘View result - UGC NET June 2019’ as shown in the image given below:
Step-2: A new page will get opened where candidates neet to fill the application number, date of birth and captcha code:
Step-3: After logging into the page you will be able to view your score. Cnadidates are advised to keep a print out of the score if they have cleared the cut-off marks in their selected subjects.
For the first time this year NTA conducted UGC NET Paper 1 & 2 in a single session of 3 hours for 81 subjects. UGC NET Exam is being conducted to determine the eligibility for the posts of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Felowship (JRF) in Indian Colleges and Universities. Also, there was no negative marking for wrong answers. Earlier Paper-1 and 2 are conducted separately in two sessions with a break of 30 minutes between them.
Validity of JRF Score
Those candidates who have cleared the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) Cut-off need to know that the validity period of the JRF Score is three years with effect from the date of issue of JRF Award letter. However, in case the candidate who has already joined M.Phil. /Ph.D., the date of commencement of Fellowship shall be from the date of declaration of NET result or date of their joining, whichever is later.
How to get NET E-Certificate issued?
Candidates must know that the role of National Testing Agency (NTA) is only upto the conduct of UGC NET Exam and declaration of final result. The e-certificates to qualified candidate are issued by UGC- NET Bureau. So the candidates declared qualified in NET are informed to contact Head, UGC NET Bureau, University of Delhi, South Campus, Benito Juarez Marg , New Delhi, Pin Code-110021, Phone No. (011-24116316, 24115416, 24115419).
