WBJEE Mop-up round 2018 Seat Allotment result released on wbjee.nic.in

A total of 113 colleges/universities including 10 government colleges, 93 private self-financed institutions and 10 State Universities / Universities Departments participated in WBJEE e-counselling 2018 conducted between June 9 and July 7. Many students participated in WBJEE e-counselling 2018, but unfortunately some of them were not able to grab any seat. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board gave one more opportunity for such students in the form of WBJEE Mop-up round. All the candidates who registered themselves for WBJEE e-counselling 2018 were eligible to participate in WBJEE Mop-Up Round. The last for choice filling and locking was July 16. Now, students are eagerly wanted to know whether they got admission or not. The WBJEE Mop-up round seat allotment result 2018 released on July 17. About 22415 vacant seats were generated after the physical reporting at the participating institutes. Those seats were converted into open seats for the Mop-up round by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEE).

1. Visit the official website i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in.

2. Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result Mop Up Round”.

3. Thereafter, click on the first link “View Institute Wise Seat Allotment”.

4. On the next page, you will have to select the name of the institute various Government Engineering & Technology Colleges, Private Self Financing Institutions and State Universities/Universities Departments. Suppose you want to check the seat allotment of Cooch Behar Government Engineering College, Cooch Behar, then you will have to select the name of this college from the drop down list. After selecting the desired college you will get the seat allotment details of the college on the same page.

WBJEE Mop-Up Round 2018: Seat Allotment Result and Pay Acceptance Fee

If candidates are happy with the seat allotted to them, then they will have to pay acceptance fee. Students can follow the steps given below to check the seat allotted to them following by the acceptance fee payment.

1. Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result Mop Up Round”.

 2. Now, click on the link “View Seat Allotment Result and Pay Acceptance Fee”.

3. Select one options out of WBJEE seats only, JEE (Main) seats only and Both (WBJEE and JEE Main) seats which you used while doing registration.

4. Click on login button after entering WBJEE 2018 Roll number, password and security pin in the space provided.

Now, you can check your seat allotment result and proceed for acceptance fee payment. If you are not satisfied by the allotted seat, then you can also withdraw admission.

What to do after WBJEE Mop-up round seat allotment result?

After the declaration of the result, successful candidates have to report to the allotted college/ institute between July 17 and July 20 for document verification process. Candidates willing to keep the seat allotted to them through WBJEE Mop-up round, will have to pay the full admission fee to the newly allotted institute. Such candidates who paid the full admission fee to the institute during WBJEE e-counselling 2018, but opted for admission through Mop-up round, will also have to pay full admission fee. To get their money back, candidates need to complete necessary formalities with the earlier institute.


Students need not to visit any reporting centre for document verification process.
