Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission invited online applications for recruitment to the post of Junior Accountant Category – IV in A.P. Municipal Accounts Subordinate Service. Interested candidates can apply online through the proforma Application to be made available on Commissions’ website – between18 September 2012 to 18 October 2012.

Pay Scale: Rs.8440-24950/-

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor in Commerce from a government recognized University or equivalent.

Age Limit: 18 years -36 years (as on 01 July 2012)
(The upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST/OBCs  and by 10 years for PH candidates.)

Fees:  All candidates should deposit Rs 180 (Rs. 100 as application processing fee and Rs. 80 as examination fee)
through Challan Form, available online on furnishing Basic Personal Details,  at Andhra Pradesh Online centers /State Bank of India.
On depositing the fee, applicant would be issued a Fee paid challan with Journal Number. All applicants should retain it for future use.

How to get the Challan Form: Candidate should logon to the website- http:// and enter his/her Basic Personal Details like Name, Father’s Name, Date of Birth, and Community. Immediately on entering the details the Applicant will get a downloadable Challan Form to pay the Fee.

[SC/ST/BC/Families having Household Supply White Card issued by Civil Supplies Department, AP Government /  Unemployed youth in the age group of 18 to 36 years (all should be residents of Andhra Pradesh) and all PH & Ex-Service Men are exempted from payment of fee]

IV Step:-  On the next working day after payment of Fee the Applicant should again visit WEBSITE and enter the Journal Number to get the format of Application. The applicant has to invariably fill all the columns in the Application and should submit ON-Line. Even after making payment of fee, candidate fails to submit the bio-data particulars, such applications shall be rejected without giving any notice.
V Step:- If any candidate fails to enter “Community” for any reason, they will be treated as an OC without giving any notice.

How to Apply:
Obtain Fee paid challan with Journal Number by depositing the fee through Challan Form to pay the Fee at any of the AP Online centers /State Bank of India. Procedure to download Challan form is mentioned above.

On receiving the Fee paid challan with Journal Number, re-login to the website-, fill in the Journal number and all the relevant columns in the format of Application and submit ON-LINE.

Affix a recent colour passport size photograph on a White Paper, sign below the photograph with Black Pen, scan it (JPG format) and upload in the appropriate space provided in Application Form.

Centre for Written Test: The Written Examination will be held on 18/11/2012 at the following five Centre:           1-Hyderabad    2-Visakhapatnam        3-Vijayawada    4-Tirupati    5- Warangal

[Applicants should choose only one of the above centres. Centre once chosen shall be final. The Commission,  however, reserves the right to allot  candidates to any centre other than centre chosen by the applicant or abolish a centre  and/or to create a new centre for administrative reasons].

Selection Procedure:
 The selection of candidates for appointment to the posts will be based on written examination (objective type) for eligible candidates.  

The candidates will be selected and allotted to Service/ Department as per their rank in the merit list and as per District preference for allotment of candidates against vacancies and for the vacancies available.  

The appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their being found medically fit in the appropriate medical classification, and if he/she is of sound health, active habits free from any bodily defect or infirmity.  

Candidates have to produce Original documents and other particulars on the day of verification date itself for verification as and when required and called for. If candidate fails to produce the certificates if any one, OR the particulars furnished in the Application do not tally with the Original documents produced by the candidate, the candidature will be rejected/disqualified without any further correspondence.
