CBSE Class 10 revised syllabus of all subjects for the academic session 2020-21 is available here. The Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE released this syllabus after deleting certain portions from the previous syllabus to reduce it for the CBSE Board Exam 2021. Board has rationalised the Class 10 Syllabus of all subjects up to 30%. Check the new syllabus here. CBSE syllabus reduced by one-third
Due to the uncertain closing of schools in this academic session, on the account of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a huge loss in studies of all classes. Especially, for the board classes in which the curriculum is directly assigned and controlled by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), all the stakeholders wanted the syllabus to be negotiated for the exams to be held in 2021. Keeping the current situation in mind, CBSE decided to reduce the Class 10 and Class 12 Board exam syllabus by one-third for the academic year 2020-21. CBSE has published the revised syllabus of all subjects of Class 10 on its official website.
Key highlights of the Revised CBSE Class 10 Syllabus 2020-21 are:
- Syllabus of each subject reduced by 30%
- No reduction in units included in each subject
- A few topics from each unit eliminated to reduce the syllabus
- Slight changes in question paper design and topology of questions for Board Exam 2021
