This year CLAT exam was conducted on 26th May 2019. The exam is conducted on a rotational basis by the National Law Universities (NLUs). The result for CLAT is released in the month of May/June each year. After a few days after the exam the answer key is released by the conducting body. After this the result and cut offs are announced. CLAT cut-offs vary from year to year. Candidates must note the cutoffs for CLAT exam are dependent on various parameters such as:

  • Difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of seats on offer

CLAT – Expected Cutoffs

On the basis of previous year’s records, candidates with a score of around 135/200 in CLAT 2018 are likely to be offered admission in one of the top NLUs, whereas, a score of around 130/200 would ensure admission into one of the good NLUs. The section-wise cut offs would be around:

How is CLAT cutoff determined?

The CLAT Committee releases the cutoff of CLAT 2019 keeping certain factors in mind as mentioned below -

  • Number of candidates who appeared in CLAT 2019
  • Number of seats available
  • Number of qualifying candidates
  • Cutoff of previous year

CLAT 2019 Cutoffs - Important Points to Keep in Mind

  • National Law University Odisha, Cuttack is responsible for declaring the cutoff of CLAT 2019 after the declaration of the result of CLAT 2019.
  • CLAT 2019 Cutoff will be the basis of admission to the undergraduate and postgraduate law programs in the academic year of 2019.
  • The cutoff will be determined on the basis of CLAT 2019 Merit List.
  • Candidates who rank as per the CLAT Cutoff 2019 will be issued call letter to attend the counseling procedure.
