Ans. A candidate willing to apply for the Common Written Examination [CWE] 2012 to be conducted online by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection in December, 2012 for selection of personnel for Clerical Cadre posts in Public Sector Banks has to fill an online application form.
The online application form is available on IBPS’s website: www.ibps.in. After completely filling in the online application form, candidates have to Submit the filled application form.
On successful submission of the online application form, a Registration Number and Password is generated by the system. Candidates are required to retain this Registration Number and Password for future reference.
An email / SMS intimation with the Registration Number and Password generated on successful registration of the application will be sent to the candidate’s email ID / Mobile Number specified in the online application form as a system generated acknowledgement.
An online application which is incomplete in any respect such as without scanned photograph / scanned signature uploaded in the online application form will not be considered as valid.
For candidates chosing to dseposir the fee online—through Credit card / Debit Card / Internet Banking – the Registration Number and Password will only be generated if the online transaction has been successfully completed.
However, if the online transaction has not been successfully completed then the following message will be displayed ‘Your online transaction was unsuccessful. Please register again.’ Candidates should then revisit the ‘Apply Online’ link and fill in their application details again.
On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated.
Note- Candidates are suggested to take a print out of the submitted application form containing fee details and retain it for future reference. Candidates depositing fees through offline mode can take the print out of the submitted application form, three days after fee payment.
• After submitting the payment information in the online application form, candidates should wait for the intimation from the server. They should not press ‘Back’ or ‘Refresh’ button in order to avoid double payment / charge.
• For Credit Card users: All prices are listed in Indian Rupee. If a candidate is using a non-Indian credit card, his / her bank will convert to the local currency based on prevailing exchange rates.
• To ensure the security of the data entered, candidates should close the browser window once the transaction is completed.
