CTET 2019 exam willl be conducted on July 7th by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The CTET 2019 exam will enable the recruitment of the Primary and Elementary Teachers for Central Schools. The Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) is a national level entrance exam conducted twice every year to appoint skilled teachers for Primary level and Elementary level. 1) Exam Schedule

There are two Papers in CTET examination: Paper I & Paper II.

  • Paper I: For Primary Stage (Candidates who want to teach Class I to V)
  • Paper II: For Elementary Stage (Candidates who want to teach Class VI to VIII)

If candidate intends to teach all the classes from I-VIII, he/she has to appear in both the Papers.

2) Exam pattern & Type of Questions asked

The CTET examination is conducted in Pen and Paper Mode, i.e., candidates need to mark their answers in the OMR Sheet. A total of 150 Multiple Choice Questions are asked in each Paper I & Paper II.

4) CTET Cut off or Passing Marks

Candidates who score 60 percent or above in the CTET 2019 exam will be considered as CTET pass and will be awarded with the CTET Marks Statement by the CBSE. Qualified Candidates will also be awarded with the CTET Certificate. The CTET certificate is the minimum eligibility to get the teaching job. The validity period of CTET 2019 certificate is seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories.

5) Things to be taken to the CTET Exam Centre:

  • CTET Admit Card or hall ticket
  • Two ballpoint pens (blue/black)
  • Original photo ID proof as well as its copy

Note: Candidates should not carry gadgets like mobile phones, earphones, wristwatch, camera, bluetooth, calculator, health band; and other items like wallet, goggles, bags, pouch, geometry box, paper, scale, writing pad, and eraser to the exam centre

CTET Exam Centres 2019

The CTET 2019 July exam will be conducted in over 2200 exam centres spread across 97 cities in India. The CTET exam centres 2019 will be allotted to the candidates as per the preference filled by them in the CTET application form 2019. Candidates were required to choose three different exam centres in order of their preference.
