DU Cutoff 2019 Updates: As per the official update, the University of Delhi is expected to release 8th cutoff 2019 for Science, Commerce and Arts, Undergraduate (UG) Courses on the official website, du.ac.in today i.e. 13th August 2019. DU Admissions Committee Head Rajeev Gupta, has confirmed that DU will open admission for the seats lying vacant under various programmes through the 8th cutoff.

As per the recent statement of Mr. Rajeev Gupta, the release of the 8th cutoff is dependent on the availability of vacant seats with DU colleges. The assessment of the seats available for admission is under assessment. In case admission on all the seats under the UG and PG courses has been done then there is a possibility that the 8th cutoff might not be released by the varsity.

Till now 7 cutoffs have been released and although there are very limited seats available in the university as the batches have already started on 20th July, still candidates can expect to grab admission in one of the top courses and colleges that accept less than 90 percent for admission. The DU admission season 2019 has seen admission on 43,854 seats against 64,000 seats (undergraduate programs) till the release of 3rd cut off. The 1st cutoff raised the bar for the aspirants seeking admission in the North and South Campus; the 2nd and 3rd cutoff brought a sigh of relief for many students aiming to get admission in top courses such as B.A. English (h), B.A. Pol. Science (H), and B.A. Economics (H). However, there are other offbeat courses in DU where seeking admission at less than 90% is possible.
