Q: I am a female and want to apply for the ASRB’s Agricultural Research Service examination 2012. How much do I have to pay as the fee charges for the test and how should I deposit that?
A: You don’t need to pay the examination fee as the women candidates are exempted from that. However, you have to deposit the registration charges of Rs 20 as it is compulsory for all the applicants. The candidates from General or OBC category have to shell out Rs 500 in total, out of which Rs 480 is the examination charges and registration fee is Rs 20 only.
Besides female contenders, the relaxation of test fee is also provided to candidates belonging Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribes/ Physically Challenged categories. OBC contenders must note here that they are not given any exemption from the fee charges. So, they need to pay whole amount of fee.
Candidates are required to submit the amount in the form of Crossed Bank Draft only drawn in favour of Secretary, ASRB and payable at New Delhi with the application form. Candidates must write their name and address on the back side of the Demand Draft to avoid any discrepancies. Candidate should note that fee paid through any other mode will not be accepted by the Board.
