Florence Nightingale School of Nursing Notified for Admission to Diploma Course 2014

Florence Nightingale School of Nursing of Delhi-based Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital invited applications from unmarried / divorcee / widow without encumbrance female candidates for admission to its Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery course for the academic session July 2014. Interested yet eligible candidates are required to apply on or before 30 May 2014.

Course Detail

Name of the course: Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (Dip GNM)

Duration: Three-and-a-half years

Eligibility Criteria

Age limit: The age of the applicant should be between 17 and 30 years as on December 31, 2014 (5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidates).

Educational Qualification: The applicants should have passed / appeared in 10+2 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board / university with minimum 50 per cent (5 per cent relaxation for candidates from SC/ST category) marks in aggregate of 10+2 (best five subjects). Candidates must produce their original 10+2 original pass certificate at the time of counselling.

Admission Procedure

Admission will be allowed through entrance exam to be held on 20 July 2014.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can get the application form-cum-prospectus from the administrative office of School of Nursing, GTB Hospital, Dilshad Garden, Delhi – 95 on payment of Rs 800 through a demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of "Medical Superintendent, G.T.B. Hospital, Delhi, payable at Delhi" from any nationalised bank, and the duly filled in application form must be submitted to the same address.

Application form is downloadable from hospital website: and in this case, the duly filled in application form is to be submitted at the same address along with prescribed Demand Draft.
