The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is considered as one of the toughest exams in India. Every year, one of the IITs conducts GATE in fully computer based test mode across the country. This year, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras is conducting GATE 2019 at 200 test centres across the country. The Mechanical Engineering (ME) paper of GATE was conducted in two sessions on February 2, 2019. The timing of the first session was 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM while the second session was conducted from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
