IBPS Mains 2018 Analysis & Expected Cut-off: Institute of Banking Personnel (IBPS) has conducted Mains examination for 4,252 vacancies of PO (Probationary Officer) post in nationalised banks on 18 November 2018. Many candidates told us that IBPS PO Mains 2018 was not easy. Questions in Data Analysis and Interpretation section were quite tricky. Many problems in this section were tough and generally not expected in any Bank PO Recruitment exam. When asked about other sections, they told us that English Language, Reasoning and Computer Aptitude sections were moderate in difficulty level. Questions in General awareness sections were based on the past 6 to 7 months current affairs.

IBPS PO Mains Exam Analysis 2018: Reasoning and Computer Aptitude

“The name of this section is Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, but not a single question was asked from computer aptitude”, one candidate said. Many candidates who took IBPS PO Mains 2018 today told us that this section was a bit easy in comparison to Data Analysis and Interpretation section, but most of the questions were quite difficult (if we compare it with previous year).

Many candidates claimed that the difficulty level of this section was moderate. Most of the questions were from previous 6 to 7 months current affairs and very fewer questions were from static GK and Banking awareness.  The average range of attempts in this by candidates in this section was 22 to 25 questions (out of 40 questions).
