Intaglio - Key Highlights
Intaglio is the Annual Business Summit of IIM Calcutta. The summit includes around 25 challenging business competitions in which students from across the top management institutes participate. The summit has been graced by eminent personalities in the past including Mr Viral Acharya, the Deputy Governor of RBI, Cricketer Saurav Ganguly, Congress MP Shashi Tharoor and Industry Tycoon Mr Azim Premji. Apart from this, several workshops and events are held as part of Intaglio. Regalio event which is held as part of the Intaglio summit has seen the performances from the likes of Comedian Anirban Dasgupta as well as several other comedians and singers in the past.

Intaglio being the business summit of IIM Calcutta – India’s premier B-school, holds several events and workshops across different verticals. For instance, Intaglio events and workshops are held in the field of marketing, finance, strategy operations and other similar fields in which students and MBA aspirants participate. Intaglio helps students and aspirants experience and understand how events are held at B-schools.

Carpe Diem – Key Highlights
Carpe Diem is the Annual Cultural Festival of IIM Calcutta. The festival is a three day extravaganza which is held in the month of January every year. Carpe Diem helps students take a break from their rigorous study schedule and tough life of the B-school. It gives students the freedom to express themselves and participate in a number of cultural events. The key highlight of Carpe Diem is that students get to let their hair down and enjoy top performance from different aspects of Indian culture.
In the past, several eminent personalities have also been part of Carpe Diem. These include Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Singer - Music Composer Amit Trivedi, Music Director Duo Sachin –Jigar, Indian EDM sesnsation Nucleya, FusionRock-Band Indian Ocean and Comedian KumalKamra.

As of now, Carpe Diem is the largest college cultural festival in Calcutta and one of the biggest fests throughout India. All in all, Carpe Diem offers three days, full of fun and excitement to the students and participants.
