State Bank of India (SBI) is the largest banking and financial services company in India by revenue, assets and market capitalisation. Founded on 1 July 1955, it provides a range of banking products through its vast network of branches in India and overseas, including products aimed at non-resident Indians (NRIs).
The State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct the Written Examination for Clerk cum Assistant posts on 3 June 2012 to fill up 8500 vacancies. The candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the written test and interview.
The written test (Objective type) will consist of the following tests
- General Awareness
- General English
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
- Marketing Aptitude/ Computer Knowledge
The questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, will be printed bilingual i.e., English & Hindi. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Candidates will have to pass in each of the objective tests.
