JEE Main 2019: NTA Announces Exam Schedule taking Lok Sabha Elections Dates into consideration

The national testing agency has announced the exam dates on which the paper 1 and paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in fully computer based test mode. As per the latest schedule, the Paper 2 (For B. Arch/ B. Planning Aspirants) of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted on 7th April, while the Paper 1 (For B.E/ B.Tech Aspirants) will be held on April 8, 9, 10 and 12. The dates are decided after considering the dates of General Lok Sabha Elections 2019. The Election Commission of India has scheduled the General Election on 11, 18, 23 and 29 in the month of April. Therefore, the dates of paper 1 and paper 2 of JEE Main 2019 are not clashing with the dates of election.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e., First Shift (9:30 AM to 12:30 PM) and Second Shift (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). The Mathematics and General Aptitude section of Paper 2 will be conducted in computer based test mode while drawing test will be in Pen & Paper (offline) mode. The Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in fully computer based test mode. The admit cards for the JEE Main will be released on March 20 at jeemain.nic.in.
