Maharashtra Board has prescribed new syllabus for Higher Secondary Chemistry subject and has considered national level curriculum for the subject. This has been done considering that students will be appearing for state level and national level entrance exams for admissions to medical courses, engineering and technology courses. Therefore, the new syllabus of Maharashtra Board HSC Chemistry subject has been designed on basis of curriculum prescribed by NCERT so as to make students ready for challenges of Entrance Exams.
Maharashtra Board Class 11th and Class 12th syllabus contains topics like physical, organic, inorganic, industrial, analytical and polymer chemistry. The new syllabus of HSC Chemistry by Maharashtra Board includes new formulations and nomenclature of elements, compounds and IUPAC units of physical quantities as well as new nomenclature, symbols and formulations, fundamental concepts, modern techniques.
