There are two phases in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) i.e., JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) while JEE Advanced is conducted by one of the IITs. The students who secure rank among top 224000 students will be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2019. Students who qualify both exams will be short-listed for the admission to engineering courses at IITs, NITs, and CFTIs.
