Odisha Excise Constable 2019 Exam: Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released a notice regarding the postponement of Excise Constable Exam 2019. According to the notice, the commission will conduct the Excise Constable 2019 Exam on 15 September 2019 from 10.00 AM onwards. Earlier, this exam was going to be held on 8 September 2019.
The candidates will be able to download Excise Constable 2019 Exam Admit Card from 1 September 2019 onwards from the OSSC website.i.e.www.ossc.gov.in. Candidates will have to use their User ID and Password to appear in the exam. The commission will not send any hard copy of the admit card through post or any other mode. Candidates will have to produce their admit cards on their own.
The commission had released OSSSC Excise Constable PET/PSM Result 2019 on 7 August 2019. Those candidates who qualified the OSSSC Excise Constable PET and PSM Exam can appear for written test on 15 September 2019. The written test will be of 60 Marks and the total duration of the written test will be 2 hours in one sitting. The question of Mathematics, General Knowledge, Translation and Retranslation of Odia & English shall be of objective multiple choice type in OMR System.
The final list of the candidates will be prepared district wise, division wise, flying squad division wise and category wise in order of merit based on the sum total of marks secured by the candidates in the Physical Standard Measurement, PET, Educational Achievement and written test. The Odisha Sub-Ordinate Staff Selection Commission will recruit a total of 219 vacancies on Excise Constable Post.
