SSC CHSL Result 2017 (Tier– 1): As expected, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) announced the result of SSC CHSL Result 2017 Tier – 1 on 15 June 2018. Candidates who appeared in the exam can check their result through the official website of Staff Selection Commission, ssc.nic.in.
As per the SSC CHSL Result 2017 (Tier– 1), a total of 48393 candidates have been declared successful to appear the SSC CHSL Tier– 2 Exam 2017 scheduled to be held this year.
SSC CHSL Result 2017 (Tier – 1) was held from 4 March 2018 to 26 March 2018 at various centres across the nation. A total of 3259 vacant posts of Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk, Court Clerk and Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants to be filled through SSC CHSL 2017 Examination.
How to Check SSC CHSL Result 2017 (Tier – 1)
Candidates can download or check their result by visiting the official website of Staff Selection Commission. Then, they need to navigate the link of SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2017 and required to put all required details i.e. Roll No, Registration Number, Password etc.
Candidates are advised to download and take a printout of the result for future reference.
The question paper for SSC CHSL Tier I was set into four parts including English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. Every subject carries 50 Marks each for 60 minutes duration. It was an online based computer exam which consists of Objective Type - Multiple choice questions only. There will be negative marking for every wrong answer. 0.50 Marks will be deducted for each wrong Answer. The answer keys will be uploaded on the official website after the result.
SSC CHSL Exam 2017 will consist of three stages: Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3. The candidates will be shortlisted for Tier II on the basis of their performance in Tier-I. Only those will be able to appear in the Tier II exam who will qualify in Tier –I. There may be different cut offs for different posts in Tier-I and subsequent Tiers.
Candidates will be shortlisted for Tier-III Examination the basis of their performance in (Tier-I + Tier-II) subject to having minimum score of 33% in Tier-II. Tier-III Examination i.e. Skill Test will be of qualifying type. The candidates who qualify Tier-III will be called for Document Verification to check the eligibility of candidates as per the information given by the candidate in the online Application Form.
