Staff Selection Commission invites application from eligible candidates for recruitment to the post of Senior Scientific Assistant-III in the Directorate of Plant Protection, Quarantine and Storage, Faridabad.

Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualification: BSc in Agriculture from a recognised University

Age Limit (29 November 2011): Minimum 18 years; Maximum 25 years. Relaxation as per rules laid by Central Government.

Pay Scale: PB-2 Rs 9300-34800; Grade Pay Rs 4200

Application Fee: Rs 50 to be paid by General/ OBC candidates through CRFS only which are are available at counter of all the Departmental Post Offices of the Country. No fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD/ Ex-Servicemen and women candidates.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of preliminary short listing of candidates on the basis of their application and interview. The commission may decide to hold a proficiency test in appropriate subject for any of the categories of posts.
