It's always better to familiarize yourself with them beforehand so that, once the admission process starts you have no doubt or confusion that could lead to delay in submitting your application. Make sure that you have all the relevant documents in place. Also, keep attested copies of all the important documents as some universities and college ask for them. If possible, try to visit the campus, talk to students and faculty there if you get the chance. It will help you a lot in finalizing the college that you ultimately wish to enroll in.

    Limit the Number of Applications

    Another thing that makes the admission process stressful is applying to a lot of colleges. So, make sure that you apply to only a select few colleges that you really are considering. There are various factors that affect a student's choice of institution.
