UPSC IES ISS 2020 Admit Card: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released UPSC IES ISS 2020 Admit Card on its website. All candidates applied for UPSC IES ISS Recruitment 2020 Exam can now download their admit cards through the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
The UPSC IES ISS 2020 Admit Card will be held in two shifts.i.e. Forenoon (9 AM to 12 PM) and Afternoon (2 PM to 5 PM). Statistics – II (Objective) paper exam would be held between 2 PM to 4 PM. All candidates are advised to check the timings in the provided link given in this article.

UPSC IES ISS 2020 Selection Criteria
Candidates will be selected on the basis of their performance in the written test and interview.
UPSC IES ISS 2020 Exam Pattern:
The examination shall be conducted according to the following plan:
- Part I-Written examination carrying a maximum of 1000 marks in the subjects as shown below.
- General English 100 3 hrs.
2. General Studies 100 3 hrs.
3. Statistics-I (Objective) 200 2 hrs.
4. Statistics-II (Objective) 200 2 hrs.
5. Statistics-III (Descriptive) 200 3 hrs.
6. Statistics-IV (Descriptive) 200 3 hrs.
- Part II-Viva voce of such candidates as may be called by the Commission carrying a maximum of 200 marks.
The exam will be in bilingual languages. Candidates will have to write the exams in their own hand. In no circumstances will they be allowed the help of a scribe to write the answers for them. Those who will qualify in the written test will be called for interview round.
UPSC IES/ISS Notification 2020 Details
Union Public Service Commission had closed the online applications on 13 July 2020 for 47 vacancies. All interested candidates are advised to apply for UPSC ISS 2020 Exam before 6 PM. Apart from this, the commission has postponed the IES Exam 2020 this year due to no vacancy available in Ministry of Finance (Department of Economic Affairs) for Indian Economic Service. The application for the same was to start from 10 June which is now postponed.
This year, the commission is going to conduct UPSC ISS 2020 Exam from 16 October 2020 and the duration of the exam will be for 3 days. The commission will release admit card three weeks before the commencement of the examination. The e-Admission Certificate will be made available in the UPSC website.
