How To Read Newspapers For UPSC Civil Services Preparation?

Sarjana Yadav Civil Services Strategy:

Sarjana prepared for her CS exams by studying on her own. She did not wish to join any coaching institute or leave her job. She was posted as Research Officer in TRAI after her graduation was completed.

She attempted her first Civil Services Exam in 2016. This was the time she failed. The next attempt also failed but did not leave her motivation. She quit her full-time job in 2018 and attempted the exam. She however still did not join any coaching for the same.

She succeeded with the help of self-study and secured 126th rank in CSE 2019.

She favours a strategy that is individualistic and is based on every candidate's own will. She stresses revision and answers writing skills to be developed within the time frame as that is very supportive. Sticking to the syllabus is something she completely focused herself on.

She stressed the need to read newspapers daily for the exam as well. The candidates can no doubt learn a lot from Sarjana's story, her strategy and her efforts which fell in the right direction. Once you think and set goals, no route is shorter or ambiguous to achieve success.
