    The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) released the WBJEE seat allotment round 3 result 2018 today. The seats allotted to some students in WBJEE counselling 2018 round 1 and 2 has been upgraded to their preferred choices on the basis of the seat availability by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The last date for locking choice in WBJEE Counselling 2018 was June 16. The WBJEEB allotted the seats to the candidates on the basis of their priority, rank and availability of seats. Students need to visit the official portal of WBJEEB to check the WBJEE 2018 seat allotment result.

    Institute Wise Seat Allotment:

    There are 10 government colleges, 93 private self-financed institutions and 10 State Universities / Universities Departments that are participating in WBJEE 2018 counselling. To check the institute wise seat allotment result, students can follow the steps given below:

    1. Visit the official website i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in.

    2. Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result Round 3”.

    3. Thereafter, click on the first link “View Institute Wise Seat Allotment”.

    4. On the next page, you will have to select the name of the institute among various Government Engineering & Technology Colleges, Private Self Financing Institutions and State Universities/Universities Departments. Suppose you want to check the seat allotment of Cooch Behar Government Engineering College, Cooch Behar, then you will have to select the name of this college from the drop down list. After selecting the desired college you will get the seat allotment details of the college on the same page.

    WBJEE Exam 2018: Previous years’ Opening and Closing rank of government and self-financed colleges

    Opening and Closing Rank after round 3:

    It is very important for students to check the opening and closing rank after round 3 before appearing for the second round of WBJEE Counselling 2018. Follow the steps given below to check the opening and closing rank.

    1. Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result Round 3”.

    2. Thereafter, click on the second link “View Opening and Closing Rank”.

    3. On the next page, you will have to select the round number, exam type, institute name and branch name.

    Example:

    Suppose you want to check the opening and closing rank of Information Technology in Government College of Engineering And Leather Technology, Kolkata. After selecting the following criteria as given below you will get the desired information.

    Seat Allotment Result and Pay Acceptance Fee:

    If candidates are happy with the seat allotted to them, then they will have to pay acceptance fee. Students can follow the steps given below to check the seat allotted to them following by the acceptance fee payment.

    1. Click on the link “Seat Allotment Result Round 3”.

    2. Now, click on the link “View Seat Allotment Result and Pay Acceptance Fee ”.

    3. Select one options out of WBJEE seats only, JEE (Main) seats only and Both (WBJEE and JEE Main) seats which you used while doing registration.

    4. Click on login button after entering WBJEE 2018 Roll number, password and security pin in the space provided.

    Now, you can check your seat allotment result and proceed for acceptance fee payment. If you are not satisfied by the allotted seat, then you can also withdraw admission.
