WBJEE 2018 Mock Counselling Centers

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has released an official notification regarding the set up of mock counselling centres. WBJEEB is going to set up a total of 33 Mock Counselling centres, which will remain functional from May 28 to June 2 (including holidays). The candidates can visit these centres between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm to clear all the doubts related to e-counselling procedure for admission to undergraduate courses of engineering technology, architecture and pharmacy to different universities/colleges in the state of West Bengal.

With the help of these mock counselling centres, students can make them familiarize with the procedure of online choice filling and e-counselling. Earlier, WBJEEB has released WBJEE 2018 Rank Card on its official website on May 23. Students can download their rank cards and check previous years’ opening and closing ranks of different government and self-financed colleges in the state of West Bengal to get an idea about the college and course they may get this year.

WBJEE 2018 Result declared, what to do next?

The actual e-counselling of WBJEE 2018 will be start from the second week of June. Students, who have successfully qualified WBJEE 2018, should know the procedure/steps of the counselling. The steps of WBJEE 2018 Counselling are given below:

1. Online registration:

In the very first step, students will have to do online registration with the help of WBJEE application number, roll number, name and date of birth.

2. Registration fee payment:

After registration, the candidates need to submit counselling fee of Rs 500 through offline (e-challan of Allahabad bank) or online (debit card/credit card/internet banking).

3. Online choice filling and locking:

Thereafter, the candidates can fill their favorite degree course and college according to their priority. Also, the will have to lock their choices.

4. Seat allotment:

The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will start allotting the course and college to the candidates according to the candidate’s preference and availability of the seats.

5. Report at centre for document verification:

After allotment of the seat by WBJEEB, students need to report at the centres along with the required documents for verification. The students should take the following documents to the centres
