Michael Bloomberg, CEO and owner of Bloomberg L.P., a global financial services, announced on November 25, 2019 that he would be running for US Presidential Elections 2020. He joins the 17 Democrat candidates who would be looking to compete with Donald Trump. Bloomberg said that he cannot afford another four years of Trump.

Uttar Pradesh government has launched a massive immunisation campaign against the filariasis or Filaria. The Union government has set the year 2021 as the deadline for complete eradication of filaria in country.

US Navy Secretary Richard Spencer has been fired by US Defence Secretary Mark Esper for his handling of a Navy Seal's case. The case was related to Edward Gallagher, who was convicted for posing with a corpse in Iraq in 2017. The Navy Secretary had demoted Gallagher but President Donald Trump later reinstated his rank.
