Lorena Ochoa Announced Her Decision to Retire

Golfstar Lorena Ochoa from Mexico announced on 20 April 2010 the decision to retire. She left the struggling LPGA Tour without its No. 1 player again and depriving the sport of one of its great ambassadors.

Golfstar Lorena Ochoa from Mexico announced on 20 April 2010 the decision to retire. She left the struggling LPGA Tour without its No. 1 player again and depriving the sport of one of its great ambassadors. The 28-year-old has been No. 1 in the world the last three years and won 27 times over the last six.

 

The LPGA or the Ladies Professional Golf Association, is an American organization for female professional golfers. The organization is best known for running the LPGA Tour which is a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world that runs from February to December each year.
