India's economy picking up pace again: Prime Minister Modi at CII Annual Meeting 2021
The theme of the Confederation of Indian Industry Annual Meeting will be India@75: Government and Business working together for Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Prime Minister Modi virtually addressed the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Annual Meeting 2021 on August 11, 2021, at 4.30 pm.
The Annual Meeting of CII will be held over two days of 11-12 August. The Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, Singapore, Heng Swee Keat also addressed the meeting as a Special International Guest Speaker.
The annual event will also see the participation of many ministers, academics, senior officials as well as prominent representatives of the Indian Industry.

While addressing the annual meeting of CII, Prime Minister Modi highlighted all the friends and organizations in the industry are a major part of India's growth story. With everyone's efforts, India's economy is picking up pace once again.

Prime Minister further added that new India is committed and ready to grow with the new world. India, which was once apprehensive of foreign investments is now welcoming all forms of investments. The country has been taking major leaps in ease of doing business ranking today.

Sentiments of citizens lie with Made in India product: PM Modi
While talking about the significance of Made in India products, Prime Minister Modi mentioned that the situation in the country is changing rapidly as today, the sentiments of the Indian citizens lie with the products that are Made in India. He added that it is not necessary for it to be an Indian company, but every Indian now wants to use products that are made in India.

Efforts to connect farmers with domestic and global markets
