Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior won the 'Best Film' Award at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021. The Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2021 were announced on February 20, 2021, for honouring the best in television, film, and music.

2. (a) Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone won Best Actor (Female) in Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival awards 2021 for essaying the role of an acid attack survivor in Chhapaak. Akshay Kumar won Best Actor (Male) for his role in Laxmii. The Ajay Devgn- Kajol-Saif Ali Khan starrer historical drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior won the 'Best Film’ honour.

3. (b) Mumbai
Mumbai will have the first undersea tunnel of India by the year 2023 which will part of the Coastal Road Project of the city. The undersea tunnels will be built as a part of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project which comprises the land-filled roads on the areas that are reclaimed from the sea, tunnels, bridges.

The Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation (DDWS) under the Jal Shakti Ministry has announced the selection of 12 iconic sites that will be transformed into ‘Swachh Tourist Destinations’ under Phase IV of Swachh Iconic Places (SIP) initiative of Swachh Bharat Mission Grameen (SBM-G).

Russia has reported the world's first case of bird flu virus strain -H5N8 -that has infected humans through birds. The bird flu strain has been reported to the World Health Organization (WHO).

Tripura, in a first-ever initiative, has started using plastic waste for the construction of roads. Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb said on February 22, 2021 that the main aim is to reduce plastic waste and make the environment plastic-free.

10. (c) Saudi Arabia
In a landmark decision, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has allowed Saudi Arabian women to take up arms and enter the military. Saudi Arabian women can now be employed as soldiers, lance corporals, corporals, sergeants and staff sergeants. 

11. (b) Novak Djokovic
Novak Djokovic on February 21, 2021, defeated Daniil Medvedev of Russia 7-5, 6-2, 6-2 in the finals of men's singles at Australian Open 2021 to win his 9th Australian Title. This is Djokovic's 18th Grand Slam win, just two behind Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer.

12. (d) Linda Thomas-Greenfield
The US Senate on February 23, 2021 confirmed Linda Thomas-Greenfield as US ambassador to the United Nations. Greenfield's name was nominated for the post by US President Joe Biden.
