Virat Kohli is a right-handed top order batsman of Indian cricket team. Kohli made his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in August 2008 and scored his first century in the same year. He made 107 runs against the same team at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Kohli made his Test debut against the West Indies in 2011 and scored his first century in this format during the Australian tour in January 2012.

Till November 2018, Virat has made 62 centuries in international cricket—24 centuries in Test cricket and 38 centuries in One Day Internationals (ODI).

Total runs made by the kohli in the international cricket are 18665 which include 10232 runs in the ODIs, 6331 runs in the Test cricket and 2102 runs in the T-20 matches.

The records of the centuries made by the Virat Kohli in the one day international matches are as follows;

1.  Kohli did not score any century in the T-20 format.

2. Kohli could not score single double century in the one day international match.

3. Kohli has made highest number of centuries against Sri Lanka (8) followed by  West Indies (7), 5 Australia and new Zealand  each and 4 against south Africa, 3 against England & Bangladesh each, 2 against Pakistan and one century against Zimbabwe.

4.  Kohli made 6 centuries in the year 2017 and 2018 each.

5. Kohli has made his highest one day international score (183) against Pakistan at “Shere Bangla National Stadium”, Dhaka (Bangladesh) in 2012.

6. India lost just 6 ODI matches despite century his by Kohli otherwise Indian team won all the match (except a tied match against West Indies in 2018).

7. Virat has made 17 centuries at home soil while 17 on foreign soil and 4 on neutral ground.
