ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Points Table: The seventh edition of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup kicked off on 17 October 2021 in Oman. England will face New Zealand today in the semi-finals while Pakistan will play against Australia in the semi-finals on 11 November 2021. The winning teams will play the final in Dubai on 14 November 2021.
The inaugural T20 World Cup 2021 match was played between Oman and Papua New Guinea at Oman Cricket Academy Ground, Al Amerat. The match was won by Oman by 10 wickets.
The first ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 match between India and Pakistan was held on 24 October 2021 and Pakistan registered their first-ever win against India in a T20 World Cup match in over 29 years.
At the start of the event, eight ICC Men's T20 World Cup teams were divided into two groups, A and B, to compete in round 1. Two top teams from each of the groups qualified for the Super 12 stage. Super 12 stage has eight teams that have been divided into two groups, 1 and 2, and are already qualified.
Each team will face the other teams of the group it is placed in. A total of 5 matches will be played in the league stage and the top four teams-- two teams from each group-- will qualify for the semifinals. The winning teams will face each other in the finals which will be held in Dubai.
