About Institute

Maharaja Sayajirao University is a public university located in Vadodara city of Gujarat. The University was established as a college in 1881, which was later granted the status of a University in 1949. The University is named after the former ruler of Baroda State Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. MSU Baroda enjoys ‘A’ grade accreditation from the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council). The University is also a member of AIU i.e. the Association of Indian Universities.
