The Department of Business Administration, Tezpur University was established in January, 1995 after enrolment of students to its flagship programme- MBA. The departments’ programmes are recognised by AICTE, New Delhi. The Department of Business Administration at Tezpur University is engaged in pursuing research, training and consultancy apart from dispersing quality management education which also includes a programme in tourism. The objective of the department at Tezpur University is to offer research and academic programmes in management and allied streams; engage in collaborative academic and research activities with national and International partners; to provide opportunity to students to obtain skills for improving employability and entrepreneurial abilities.
