In a meeting conducted by the Rajasthan State Education Minister Govind Singh Dotasra close to 92 sensitive and highly sensitive examination centres have been identified. The minister in the meeting discussed the measured to be taken in order to conduct the annual class 10 and 12 board examinations in the state board affiliated schools in Rajasthan.
The Rajasthan Class 10 and 12 board examinations will be conducted across 5674 centres in the state from which 62 are sensitive centres and 30 are hypersensitive centres. This means that there is a higher risk of students using unfair means while appearing for the examination.
The Rajasthan class 10 and 12 board examinations will be conducted in March-April 2020 for approximately 20,56,552 registered students, the class 10 examination will be conducted from March 12 to 24, 2020 while the class 12 examinations will be conducted from March 5 to April 3, 2020.
In order to keep the malpractices at bay all the examination centres including the 92 sensitive and highly sensitive examination centres, CCTV Cameras will be installed. With respect to the question paper leak cases which have happened earlier, the board has been asked to remain vigilant. The education minister has asked to appoint home guards to safeguard the question papers of the examination centres situated away from the police stations on police posts. The home guards will also be stationed at answer book centres and also at nodal exam centres.
Apart from these, a control room will also be established in the office of the Director, Secondary Education, Rajasthan from 7 AM to 9 PM on all the examination days.
This year approximately8,65,895 candidates have registered for the class 10 board examinations while 11,79,830 students have registered for the class 12 examinations from the schools affiliated to the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
