JAC Result 2018: Jharkhand board Class 10, 12 supplementary results declared at jac.nic.in
JAC Supplementary Result 2018: The wait is finally over for the candidates who have appeared for the JAC Compartment examination as the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has declared the Class 10 and Class 12 compartment results. The Jharkhand Board candidates who were waiting for the JAC Compartment Result 2018 can now check their scorecards on the official website of the board i.e. jac.nic.in. The declaration of the results has sealed the fate of thousands of students who have appeared for the examination. Last year also the board announced the results around the same time.
For the convenience of the students, we have elaborated the JAC Class 12/ Class 10 Supplementary Result 2018 checking process here. The candidates will first have to visit the official website of the board i.e. www.jac.nic.in then they have to click on the link which states JAC Class 12 Supplementary Results 2018/JAC Class 10 Supplementary Results 2018. The candidates will then have to enter all the important details like name, roll number etc. Soon after clicking on the submit button, the JAC 12/ Class 10 Supplementary Result 2018 will appear on the screen. It is extremely important for the candidates to save the PDF copy of the results and take some printout of the same for future references.
This year, the JAC Class 10 Result 2018 was announced on June 12, 2018, in which a total number of 59.48 percent students passed the examination. The passing percentage of the students is increased as compared to the last year. In the year 2017, the total passing percentage was 57.91. This year, around 4 lakh students appeared for the examination which was conducted in the month of March. Out of total 4,28,379 students appeared for the examinations 2,54,830 students have passed the examination. The boys of the state have performed better than the girls. The boys scored total 61.79% while the girls scored total 57.29%. The Jharkhand board declared the result district wise. This year Hazaribagh is the district scoring highest 74.75% as the total passing percentage. While Ranchi is the district at the second place with 72.93% as the total passing percentage and E. Singhbhum at the third place with 68.23% total passing percentage.

The Jharkhand Academic Council came into existence through the Jharkhand Academic Council Act 02 July 2003, on 26 December 2003. The duties of JAC as outlined in JAC ACT 2003 are listed as responsible for holding the examination, syllabus prescription and drafting policies for affiliated schools.
